Friuli Venezia Giulia

Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy’s most northeastern region covering nearly 8000km2, holds a unique microclimate where the breezes descending from the Alps meet with those rising from the Adriatic Sea.
This has proved ideal for viticulture as well as the processing of Prosciutto di San Daniele and the creation of the Friuli Venezia Giulia white wines.

About 2.5% of Italy’s overall production comes from its 8 regional designations of protected origin (DOC), 2 inter-regional DOC (Prosecco and Lison-Pramaggiore stretch over Friuli and Veneto) 3 designations of protected and guaranteed origin (DOCG).
Sharing the unique agricultural conditions of Friuli Venezia Giulia Italian region, Prosciutto di San Daniele and its white wines compliment each other perfectly.
The delicate saltiness of the Prosciutto di San Daniele matching naturally with the refreshing, fruity flavours of the white wine, distinctive of the area.
